To whom it may concern,
I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding the delivery of the order referenced below, which has finally arrived today.
Before placing the order, I was clearly informed that the estimated delivery date would be January 3rd. Based on this information, I stayed at home on January 3rd, 4th, and 5th, making myself available to receive the delivery. As the order did not arrive, I was ultimately forced to do last-minute shopping, as the items were intended to be a gift.
Yesterday, your courier attempted delivery at 15:00, a time at which I was working and therefore unavailable. Today, I have once again had to remain at home for the entire day in case another delivery attempt was made. This situation has been highly inconvenient and frustrating.
While I understand that the Christmas period is particularly busy, I find it unacceptable to provide customers with an estimated delivery date that you are unable to meet. This lack of reliability and failure to respect your own delivery terms reflects very poorly on your business practices.
Although I now have the products, they could no longer be given to their intended recipient, as I had already been forced to purchase an alternative gift. This has resulted in both inconvenience and unnecessary expense.
Sincerely,
Rebeca Sempere
